Wisconsin – Street Angels Help Those in Need

Milwaukee –

With temperatures set to fall to dangerously low levels this week and next, a local organization is stepping up to help the most vulnerable among us. All through Wednesday night members of the Street Angels community group spoke to homeless and marginalized people, letting them know that there was a place for them to go to get out of the cold.

Warming centers provide crucial support to many members of the community at this time of the year. Street Angels is just one of the organizations dedicated to helping out the homeless in Milwaukee with multiple programs throughout the year. Currently they are seeking cold weather clothing donations for things such as:

  • Men’s jogging pants — sizes medium to XXL
  • Men’s sweat pants — sizes medium to XXL
  • Men’s jeans — sizes 32 to 38
  • Men’s thermal underwear
  • Thick, cold weather gloves
  • Hand and toe warmers
